Here at Dark Glass Studio we intend to create games that we want to play with our friends and family by focusing on story, character, and content rather than current market trends. We are not subscribers to the Machiavellian philosophy, we believe that how something is done is as important, if not more so, than what is actually produced. As a result of this perspective we have developed the following outlook on game design and creation:
- Flexible gameplay and mechanics form the foundation, from these a unique experience may emerge for each player.
- Players must have the freedom to develop their own story through their gameplay and interactions.
- Characters are the core of a story, however, give the player flexibility to expand on those characters.
- A game does not need to have gory content and profanity in order to be a fun experience for the player.
